Graphic Design Experience

I have experience creating books, comics, zines, and other forms of content that displays experience and skill in graphic design work. I have 2 published and paid zines under the University of Michigan.
I have work experience as a ‘Social Media Strategist’ and content creator. I 1.5 years experience with 2 brands posting on instagram, twitter, and youtube in order to increase engagement and create a brand identity.
I have worked with 3 brand identities, including Wacker’s Workshop, Wave RF, and Mi-Cell (start-up) to build and realize their brands in the real world. This came to 4 websites built.
Graphic design aided me with a position of Assistant to the Curatorial Director of a Digital Art Gallery. - Blackdove.
I am beyond comfortable using the following softwares for graphic design purposes: Adobe Illustrate, Photoshop, Canva, Adobe Bridge, Adobe Lightroom, iMovie, Adobe Rush, Adobe Premier,

My Zines

Zines are a powerful medium for self-expression and grassroots activism, offering an accessible way to share stories, ideas, and artwork outside mainstream channels. I was able to create zines for the La Raza Arts Media Collective in Michigan - in efforts to provide a platform for amplifying the voices of Chicano, Latinx, and indigenous communities, fostering a sense of identity and cultural pride like many others, using Zines. BRANDING & IDENTITY

Through working with multiple startups, and founding my own personal business, I have been able to gain vast experience in brand curation and identity representation.

Comic Creation

‘Beach Daze’ is an original comic created depicting a turtle and a seal and their adorable friendship. In this blip of the story, we see the friends in a moment of panic and adventure as they see a shark formulate out of the blue! They rush to the shorline and just barely beat the shark to the shallows. On the nice warm beach is were they are safe, and they sit in the sun watching the waves as the scary shark disappears back into the open ocean.

Blackdove - Assistant to Curatorial Director

In 2023 I was able to work as an Assistant to the Curatorial Director of Blackdove for an internship. I was able to gain experience in event planning, and event advertisment. This allowed me to gain experience adapting to different brands and curating posts and content in their style.
